Aquazi- July Rhino Adoption

Rangers found Aquazi wandering alone after poachers killed his
Mom. He was a tiny baby, perhaps only four weeks old. There
were intense rains and storms and he had hidden in pools of
water to escape the hyenas. Aquazi had severe pneumonia, and
his lungs were extremely compromised. He required 24/7 care,
with caregivers staying by his side for the first two weeks to
administer oxygen and monitor his breathing.
Against all odds, Aquazi survived and slowly began to gain
strength. Through extreme dedication this little orphan is now a
bundle of energy and just loves to play in mud!
